Tell me about your Kids: My husband and I have 2 awesome kiddos. Emiliana is 3.5 years and is a firecracker! She was a NICU baby (30 weeker with 35 day stay). It was such a scary time. Looking at this energetic, curious, silly, sweet girl, you would never know her life started in such a way. She’s our miracle.
TJ is 4 months and the chillest baby ever. My pregnancy was fraught with sickness, but now that he’s here we couldn’t imagine life without him. He’s smiling and babbling like crazy plus he’s working really hard to roll over. Such a cutie!
Favorite things to do with the kids Locally: We love going to Delmar Farm’s Mommy and Me Pony Class. It’s lots of hands on fun with the animals. Manatee Lagoon and Lion Country Safari are also fan favorites in our house.
What’s your “Day Job”: I am the founder of Married in Palm Beach – the only online wedding planning resource dedicated to weddings in the Palm Beaches. We focus on providing unique and useful content geared to local and destination couples wanting to get married in Palm Beach County, including our free Wedding Planning Guide.
The site is optimized for Palm Beach specific wedding searches, garnering over 6,000 views per month. We also strive to have the most comprehensive list of wedding vendors local to the Palm Beaches. MIPB is helping couples plan amazing weddings by connecting them with our wonderful, local wedding vendors.
How did you get Started with it: I started my career in the wedding industry as a wedding planner 10 years ago. During that time, I quickly realized that the available online resources for couples looking for wedding vendors lumped the Palm Beaches into the greater South Florida market to the detriment of those couples. I yearned for an online resource dedicated to the Palm Beaches, so I built it myself. It was a major shift from my previous work, but something I felt was greatly needed in our market.
What is your best parenting advise: Have fun and don’t take everything so seriously. There is always times when you need to be serious, but our strategy is to make every day fun for our kids. There is a lot of laughter in our house so it makes those serious moments hold more weight for our kids.
What do you do for self care: I love an awesome pedicure (shout out to Pusha at The Ambassador on Palm Beach!) and try to treat myself every couple of months. Also, you can never go wrong with a relaxing massage at Eau Palm Beach.
Anything else to share: I am so excited to be partnering with NAWP to host our very first wedding expo in January – Love Under the Palms! This show will offer an intimate opportunity for couples meet the most exclusive wedding vendors in the Palm Beaches.
