St. Bart’s Family Vacation Guide - Palm Beach Moms
The Fabulous St.Bart’s, An Island That Has Our Hearts……

Un Deux Trois! Let’s Talk about one of the most beautiful hidden gems of an island right here in our Caribbean Sea.  St. Barthelemy, white sugar sand beaches with ocean water the color of your pool.  This one of a kind French island is filled with luxurious family friendly villas, elegant small hotels that cater to your needs in the most exceptional way and world class French restaurants. Rosé all day, naps at noon, and family dinner at the famous I’soletta is just a peek of the perfect day in St. Bart’s.

As soon as you land on the famous short runway into Gustavia, you immediately escape into a dreamland where any of life’s challenges seem to dissipate. Serenity, Luxury, French flare, and excellent concierge at every location, makes St. Bart’s unforgettable.

This intimate little island is ideal for families coming to unwind, reconnect, and find a new place of happiness. You’ll find Kid-friendly family activities to please all ages and simply superb beaches that provide the the most incredible lazy days.  There is an intangible Parisian chic meets barefoot Caribbean elegance vibe which is uniquely addicting.  Make one trip and you will be a fan for life.

Our first trip to St. Bart’s was a romantic getaway to Le Sereno (reopens this fall after hurricane repairs), an incredible 5 star romantic little hotel providing everything you could imagine.  Conde Nast named it the 2016 Best Carribean resort, and who are we to argue with them?

For family travel there are so many beautiful hotels to enjoy it is impossible to pick a favorite.  We love staying at Cheval Blanc their pool and beach front amenities are unforgettable. Their feet-in-the sand ocean view lunches will win your heart over as the greatest lunch spot on the island.   The lux yet family friendly Le Guanahani is planning to reopen this year.  Eden Rock, St. Barths plans a late 2018 reopening but Eden Rock’s 80-property Villa Rental is open for business and will make you right at home.  Hotel Villa Marie and The Hotel Manapay are also up and ready to accommodate travelers.

A more homey option can be found with Wimco Villas.  They are experts at finding the perfect castle for your crew of any size.  Leave it to them to completely book your travel, transportation to and from your villa, car rental, incredible babysitting service(YES!!), activity planning, reservation booking… you name it and they handle it!  The staff is always available proving 5 star concierge service making your home away from home feel like the most luxurious hotel. Don’t forget to have them fill your kitchen before arrival with all your favorite goodies, making ‘kid travel’ a breeze.

The restaurants are all so incredible it’s hard to pick the best.  A few not to be missed include:

Le Guerite at the tip of Gustavia’s Harbor, between fishing boats and yachts you will savor an authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

Nikki Beach has a Sunday lunch that you do not want to miss. Jazz music, dancing on the tables, rose all day, and incredible food.

Eden Roc offers a fine dining romantic date night location with the most incredible views of the “Little Roc” moonlit beach.

I’sola is the sister restaurant of our favorite family friendly pizza spot, becoming the most well rated popular dining spot on the island, this Italian restaurant will leave you salivating for more.

The list goes on! The activities are endless. Our little ones have such incredible memories, of renting a Moke, waking up early with daddy running down to the local bakery to pick up fresh made chocolate croissants and watching the airplanes come in.  The St Barth Yellow Submarine tour by St Bart’s Sailor is at the top of the list of fun things to do for my little ones on a great sunny day!  Everything St Barth Sailor has to offer is a hit!  Shell hunting on the aptly named Shell Beach is a must and keep Inter Ocean Museum in your pocket as an activity if it rains.  The Film Festival May 1-5 2018, the Music Festival and Carnival every February are also great spectacles.  End your trip with a romantic sunset cruise on a sailboat rental while sipping champagne and enjoying lobster tails and talking all about how quickly you can return to the unforgettable ST. BARTH!

As the French say… Au revoir pour le moment!!!
