PGA National just got a 100 million dollar renovation and WOW.  It is the crown jewel of the area now.  They thought of EVERYTHING and it feels like Palm Springs glam (think greens and rose colors with gold accents) in a fresh way. and we get to have it in our backyard!  What a treat- enjoy a full blown resort vacation without travel!

The valet makes your welcome memorable.  I felt like an owner being welcomed back home.

There rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed.  My hubby sensitive back even gave the bed and pillows 5 stars.  They have lots of options for families, rooms with 2 queen beds, rooms with pull outs, adjoining rooms, suites, then on to cottages and homes for larger groups.

The kids club is such an amazing addition.  You can drop the kids off guilt free because they will have a great time.  They will be having fun doing crafts, swimming, crushing the arcade, and more.  You can do hourly, half, full day or an evening session.  Play tennis, enjoy the spa, heck – just sleep in and do it guilt free!  Reservations are suggested.  My kids HID from me when I came to pick them up begging for more time.

There are two pool areas.  The first is the giant resort pool with beach entry.  The second is adults only with waters of the world by the spa.  Both offer food and beverage service.  They are building a lazy river too! There is also an ice cream shop The Big Drop, a chocolatier Sugarplume, game room, and a great fitness center.  The game room is easy with a reusable game card.

The spa is out of this world.  You do not have to be a hotel guest to make a reservation and enjoy.  They have a salon section with hair and nail services, then a spa side with treatments such as massage, facial and so on.  The relaxation space (no co-ed) offers space to sit and relax, a salt room, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, and showers.  I suggest building time in to enjoy some time by the spa pools.  There are 3 pools and a spa tub and each offers different benefits and salinity.

The sports facilities are second to none, so you might as well enjoy.  They are known for the incredible golf courses (Where the Honda Classic is played!) but don’t overlook the world class tennis and pickleball.  They have lighted courts for night play – perfect for the summer heat!

And you aren’t going hungry!

Birdie’s Diner – is a sweet casual spot on the served right at the first hole. Nostalgic serving quintessential American cuisine with a South Florida spin including Piña Colada Pancakes and a Cuban Panini.

Honeybelle – created by “Top Chef” alum, and Palm Beach mom, Lindsay Autry, Honeybelle offers all-day dining.   Offering both indoor and outdoor seating that encapsulates the Palm Beach chic vibe with palm-leaf green vibe.  The food is incredible.  It was a delight to feel comfortable with kids in a nice restaurant with great food.

The Butcher’s Club – Helmed by “Top Chef” Season 13 winner and Executive Chef of the acclaimed Stubborn Seed in Miami, Jeremy Ford, The Butcher’s Club offers guests a high-end dining experience in a sleek, stylish atmosphere with an air of 1950s cool. You be transported back to another era in a dramatic setting of black marble tables beneath polished gold chandeliers, accented with tones of warm gold and dark wood. The menu includes selections from the raw bar as well as select dry aged cuts paired with an innovative cocktail menu and an extensive wine collection. The Butcher’s Club is open for both hotel guests and for locals to enjoy.

The MKT – For grab and go, The MKT offers a fast casual option.  Coffee, snacks, and small bites.  Lots of kid friendly options.
