Meet the Mom - Hannah Lopez - Palm Beach Moms

Where did you grow up: I was Born in south Florida but raised in Germany and England for most of my childhood. I’m a Florida girl at heart.

Town you live in now: palm beach!

Why you love living there: How could you not love living here! The inter coastal and the ocean are a few blocks away. I love the local coffee shops and restaurants and how much the local community supports local businesses!

Tell me about your kids: I have one daughter. Her name is Savannah Rose and she just turned one. She’s a complete firecracker and keeps us on our toes 24/7. She’s a fast walking, dog loving babe and is always smiling and laughing. She lights up the room and makes her presence known. We love our little girl.

Favorite things to do with the kids locally: our favorite thing to do with Savannah is go to the park and the beach. We live close to Palm Beach Island so we frequent The Poinciana Park and Sunset Beach. We also love grabbing a smoothie and playing with our pup, Chester.

What’s your ‘day job’? How did you get started with it? My day job is the marketing director for Bolay! I started Almost five years ago when we only had two restaurants and now we have 18! My main focus is to help build the brand and inspire our team and our guests to be the best versions of themselves each and every day.

What is your best parenting advice. Lay it on us. – communication. Communicate with your partner and your babe. They absorb everything we say, they pick up on our energy, and they are learning all of our moves. Communication in any relationship is the driving force to having a successful one, even with our kids. Don’t ever let them stop talking to you, be that open door even if it’s not what you want to hear.

What do you do for self care? I’m a huge believer that if you take care of yourself you have the space to take care of your loved ones. I exercise a few times a week, even if that means doing squats holding Savannah 🤣 – I also have to give my husband props for the daily foot rubs and back scratches, they are the perfect ending to my hectic days. I also dedicate Sundays to face masks and bubble baths.

Anything else you want to share? Being a mom is a dream come true. I never thought I’d have my first babe during a pandemic, it brought on so many challenges and as if being a new mom wasn’t scary enough, that was the tip of chaos. But we overcame and all of that anxiety was channeled into just loving on her and making sure we were all growing, together. Working full time in a start-up business that is on the verge of going nationwide, while being a devoted wife, and growing mama is a huge undertaking… but I wouldn’t Have it any other way.
