There are so many great ways to give back this holiday season and all year long in the Palm Beaches.
We have options to volunteer for everyone – with the kids, from home, same day or making a long term commitment.
Please join us in the CHS Holiday Gift Card Drive and help brighten children’s sprits this holiday season!
Together, we can lift a small burden for parents struggling to put food on the table. Together, we can bring joy to these homes. Together, we can help these families create loving, lasting memories as they work to stay safe, strong and together.
In an abundance of caution, and for the safety of CHS families, team members, volunteers, and donors, we are only accepting monetary donations. With this approach, we can safely make sure each child with CHS receives a special holiday gift to make the season bright.
We appreciate your understanding as we continue to navigate this uncharted territory while also remaining steadfast in our services and care for families, as well as the uplifting experiences like the Annual Holiday Drive that brings so much joy to children’s (and parent’s) hearts each year.
Please consider a monetary donation to lift the spirits of our families this holiday season, if you are in the position to help sponsor one of the more than 3,000 children whose only holiday gift may come from the CHS Holiday Gift Card Drive. You can make your gift online here-https://www.chsfl.org/holiday2020/

Adopt a Family
Adopt-A-Family is looking for Holiday Adopters to support our families during the holiday season as they work towards stability and self-sufficiency. You can provide tangible support to families who wouldn’t otherwise have the ability to afford holiday gifts in two ways:
1 – Donate money that will be used to purchase gift cards to give parents the joy of selecting holiday gifts for their children. Your donation will empower a family to select the items they need and want most.
OR
2 – Purchase gifts for each family member directly from their wish list.
For both options, we recommend a donation of $75-$100 per family member.
Sign up today by filling out the Holiday Adopter Donor Form. Email your completed donor form to [email protected]or fax to 561-253-1370. Our receipt of your completed donor form will be confirmation of your program participation. Family profiles matched to your donation preferences will be sent to you in November.

2020 Host a Diaper Drive
The mission of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. (HMHB) is to improve birth outcomes and promote healthy families by providing access to care, education and support to those facing the physical, emotional, economic and social challenges of pregnancy and infant care.
One of the eight key programs offered through HMHB is Basics4Babies, an emergency needs pantry for infants. The pantry provides diapers, formula and baby food directly to families in PBC facing financial hardship. Volunteers can get involved by hosting a diaper drive at their workplace, in their neighborhood, friend network or any community group. Students who plan and execute a diaper drive to benefit HMHB are eligible for community service hours. For more information on hosting a diaper drive please contact Mary Carhart, Director of Advancement at [email protected] or call (561) 665-4518.
In addition, monetary donations help ensure the pantry remains stocked and is a reliable resource for families in need, donations can be made at www.hmhbpbc.org/donate. Product donations can be directly shipped to the pantry through the Basics4Babies Amazon Wish List, http://ow.ly/N3rW50BqgAN.
2020 Help a furry friend.
Of course, monetary donation support is always welcomed, we are unable to hold one of our 2 major fundraisers this year due to Covid-19. We do not receive any state or government funding to support the organization, we are dependent on our community for funding support.
The women we serve are among the most affected by the loss of employment due to Covid-19, most of our clients are single mothers. We are on the front line to witness the impact and devastation that the pandemic has had on the lives of women and the children in our community.
The volunteer opportunities are personal shoppers, mentors for our job readiness programs, client follow up, community relations, and fundraising events. We have group inventory opportunities on a quarterly basis. More information on volunteer opportunities can also be found on our website. We do not have any opportunities for children.
