North Palm Beach Public Library accepts books, DVDs, audiobooks, and music CDs for donations. We do not accept encyclopedias and/or text books. Donations may be dropped at North Palm Beach Public Library during business hours. For questions, call 561-841-3383.

Several programs at the Literacy Coalition have a need for new and used books for preschool and elementary school age children.

Women’s Clothing.
Dress for Success We are unable to pick up donations and since many of our clients go directly to an interview, we ask that all donated items are freshly dry-cleaned or laundered, ironed, on hangers and not more than four-years-old, and are suitable for job interviews. Once a client is hired, we invite her back to receive a week’s worth of clothing. All of the items are provided to our clients and no one pays a fee.
We accept donations on Thursdays, by appointment only. Please contact (561)-249-3898 to schedule a time to bring the donations and tour our lovely boutique and job readiness center. There are very specific items that are always in need. If you are interested in facilitating a drive for us, we gratefully request that you collect the following items: Black and brown new, or gently used, professional purses, New, or gently used, professional shoes in size 9W and larger, New, unopened makeup, especially mascara, lipstick, and lip gloss, New undergarments, with tags

Mounts Botanical Gardens. We accept donations year round for our Vintage Thrift Shop, which is open during our annual Spring and Fall Plant Sales. Items can be dropped off at our Gift Shop, located just inside the front gate, 7 days a week from 10 am – 3:30 pm. If you have large items requiring pickup, please call our office at 561-233-1757 to discuss.

At Treasures for Hope, we take donations of new and gently used items. As often as possible, donations go directly to meet the needs of homeless youth and youth aging out of foster care. If an item does not meet an immediate need within the charity, we may sell it in our charity store. Treasures for Hope was created to bring awareness and support to our community for homeless youth and youth aging out of foster care.

Donations are received at our front door Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free pick ups are available for furniture donations and certain other large donations. Pick ups are usually scheduled 1 to 2 weeks in advance but we can frequently work faster. Most of our pick ups are in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and northern West Palm Beach; but we do sometimes venture farther for large donations. Call 561-691-8881 to schedule.

Medical Devises and Equipment
Clinics Can Help redistributed medical equipment to those in need. Simply call 561-640-2995 or email CCH at [email protected], and we will arrange for inspection and pick-up of your medical equipment.
To conserve costs, we are grateful when you deliver small items, such as walkers and wheelchairs yourself. We arrange for pick-ups of large pieces of medical equipment, such as hospital beds and electric wheelchairs on a weekly basis. It’s that easy. No forms. No obligations.

Palm Beach County Substance Awareness Coalition was created to give parents and youths the tools to live drug, alcohol and tobacco free.
By bringing together local educators, substance abuse
professionals, law enforcement administrators, and business leaders, we coordinate activities, provide information, and
organize public awareness campaigns to steer youths and adults away from harmful substances.
Since 2002, our coalition has coordinated Palm Beach County’s efforts to keep our communities healthy, safe and drug-free.

Palm beach County Food Bank. For individual donors with a smaller amount of food to donate, come by our facility and drop off your food items. Simply pull up to our warehouse door and one of our Warehouse Associates can assist offloading the items.
