What to know before you go:
Does regular entrance get you in, when is it?
Yes. It is held weekends in October. Saturdays & Sundays in October
October 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, 30-3. We went opening day and it was not crazy crowded. The most we waited for a ride was 20 minutes.
What makes Brick or Treat different than a regular day?
- Brick-or-Treat Trail along the water by the Pirate show. (if you have food allergies – you can trade yours in at Halloween headquarters for safer options)
- Meet Halloween exclusive LEGO characters, including Lord Vampyre, Rockin’ Frankenstein, a scarecrow and more!
- Set out on the Brick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt to find the LEGO Candy Corn through MINILAND.
- The Tale of Pirates’ Cove Fireworks Spectacular: Every Brick-or-Treat night, watch fireworks (at 8pm) transform into LEGO bricks at the fireworks spectacular and hear the tale of Pirate Cove! Gates open at 7 for the best seats.
- Halloween headquarters with specialty themed lego sets and mini figures.
- The ultimate Halloween slumber party with your little monsters this season is available at the LEGO hotels with a special package.

Is it scary?
Not at all.
Do kids wear costumes?
Some do. Is it necessary? No. Is it worth wearing one that will make you hot and cranky? Also no. You can bring your own treat bag or the park will provide one (do Mother Earth a solid and bring your own). We wore skorts, a halloween cat t-shirt, and matching cat ears that lasted about 10 seconds.
What if it rains?
Rainy Day? No problem – in this state fleeting showers are part of the landscape. If the weather closes rides for more than two hours, visit guest services on your way out to claim your FREE return ticket to come again on a brighter day in the next 365 days. Here is a list of attractions available for you and your family to enjoy in the sprinkles or use as shelter:

Is the waterpark worth it?

- The wave pool
YES! The water park packs a lot of fun in for sure – and feels amazing on the warmer days. For little ones- there is a splash area, and the lazy river has tubes to hold tots. You can borrow lifejackets if desired. For older kids there are water slides, a wave pool and more. All ages will enjoy building a boat and racing it down the river. This area also has lots of shade to hide for those dodging the rays.
You do need to bring your own towels (small quick dry ones), and it was nice to have sunblock, SPF chapstick, a hat, glasses, swim diapers, sun shirt, dry bag and sandals. If you forget any of those things the surf shop is well stocked.
Changing rooms and showers are available. You can not go back in the main park in swim gear so make sure you have something to put on afterwards.
They have a a taco stand and a grill with all kinds of food offerings and… even hard seltzer.
Anything else to know? Where should we stay?
Bring your own snacks (lunch and dinner options are readily available and yummy), water bottles as they have refill stations. If you’re already on an Orlando vacation, it’s an easy day trip and drive of about 45min from the Disney area.
